Tamworth commuters have been given the green light this week, with the Manilla Road and Jewry Street intersection upgrades now completed.
The project was a National party election commitment from 2011.
The refurbishment, valued at a total of $6 million, included the removal of two roundabouts as well as the installation of traffic lights and new pavements.
It’s part of a 20 million dollar initiative to improve Manilla Road.
