GUYRA SITES SUGGESTED AS BEING SUITABLE FOR BORE WATER SUPPLIES

A number of sites in Guyra have been identified as suitable for water bores.

A group of hydrologists has been tasked with finding groundwater, as the town’s supplies dwindle.

The group is halfway through a 12-week study, and met with Armidale Regional Council last week to discuss its preliminary findings.

It says there are several sites with good water quality, which would be appropriate.
