WILD WEATHER WARNNG: WINDS UP TO 100KM AN HOUR EXPECTED
Newcastle, Gosford and the Barrington Tops are likely to be affected when wind gusts between 90 and 100km/h batter thousands of kilometres of coastline in the coming days.
It comes as a cold front skims across parts of south-east Australia.
Freezing temperatures, coastal erosion and huge waves up to 10 metres high are also expected.
One cold front already hit the south-east yesterday, with another set to prolong the wild weather for up to 48 hours.
