Planning for a stronger university presence in the Manning-Great Lakes region is already underway, a steering committee meeting held in Taree today.
Federal Member for Lyne Doctor David Gillespie, hopes what he’s calling the ‘Taree Universities Campus project’ will successfully combine several education providers in one precinct.
The current Taree council chambers was mentioned as a possible site.
