HUNTER BUSINESS DEFRAUDED OF MORE THAN $250,000
A Woodberry woman, who police say defrauded her employer at the time of more than $250,000 has been charged.
It’s alleged the 45-year-old transferred $288,812 from the business’ account to a number of personal bank accounts between mid-2012 and June last year.
She was arrested at Raymond Terrace on Thursday, and charged with 25 counts of obtaining benefit by deception.
She’s set to face Maitland Local Court next month.
