The weather certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the 1500 people who took part in today’s Race For Research.
The five kilometre fun run or walk, which was celebrating 15 years, raised $65,000 for the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia.
Avon, the event sponsor, also chipped in a cool $500,000.
