29 rowers from The Armidale School have been undergoing high altitude training at Malpas Dam in preparation for the 11 kilometre Hawkesbury Canoe Classic.
They’re being joined by participants from New England Girls School and Presbyterian Ladies College, as well as some adult competitors.
This Saturday will be the 35th year TAS students have taken on the tough endurance event.
While they’ll be aiming to win, the race is also a vital fundraiser for the Arrow Bone Marrow Foundation.
