Water restrictions are set to ease in parts of the Tamworth region following decent rainfall in a number of catchment areas over the Christmas and New Year period.
Nundle, Kootingal/Moonbi, Bendemeer and Manilla will all return to the lowest water restriction as of tomorrow.
However, Tamworth will remain on level three water restrictions, due to little runoff into Chaffey Dam.
The dam did experience a slight improvement and currently sits at 34.6 per cent.
