DAVID EVANS JAILED OVER STOCKTON FATAL CRASH

A man’s been jailed over a deadly crash in the Newcastle suburb of Stockton last year.

47-year-old David Evans was sentenced to at least two years prison for causing the four-car pile-up in August, which claimed the life of Joseph Cordner.

The 57-year-old died after his car burst into flames following the pile-up.

Evans will be eligible for parole in 2021.
