KITCHEN KNIFE SEIZED AFTER MAN STABBED AT HAWKS NEST
A 37-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed at Hawks Nest at Port Stephens on Saturday.
The man was rushed to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital having suffered wounds to his arm and leg in the attack on Mirreen Street, which happened at around midday.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old man at the scene.
He’s been charged with three offences including wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A kitchen knife was seized by police.
