We were working our trawler at sea last night and were watching out for her It was special to come in from out at sea with her as our Grandfather worked at John Browns in Scotland on the original one He was a shipwright and among other things during the build. He was in charge of putting the staircase in.
Hi,
We were on the Queen Elizabeth when it sailed into Newcastle Harbour. The welcome to the ship was amazing. We come from Stockton and all our friends were on that side to see US come in. We were on the 3 day cruise Sydney to Brisbane and the warm welcome that this beautiful lady received as it came into the harbour makes me want to cry.
