Emergency crews worked to protect an Armidale home this afternoon as it was threatened by a large grass fire.
Police were called to Claude Street around 2pm, where they found the fire burning near the house.
Crews worked to extinguish the blaze, with the help of Fire and Rescue teams and neighbouring residents.
It’s believed to have been deliberately lit.
