The Australian University Sevens series came to an end in Canberra yesterday, with the UNE Lions coming away with one win from the final round.
They finished on a high, beating the University of Melbourne 52-12.
And while no one would question the Lions’ commitment this season, their results haven’t quite lived up to that of previous years.
The overall series title was won by the University of Queensland.
