The wild weather hitting the East Coast over the last couple of days hasn’t kept everyone out of the water.
These brave souls were happy to tackle the surf at Evans Head yesterday afternoon.
Swell of over four metres has pounded beaches up and down the coast.
With wind speeds between 30 and 35 knots recorded by the Ballina Coast Guard.
Fortunately, conditions are expected to continue to calm down.
