The man accused of murdering Tamworth policeman, David Rixon, faced Newcastle Local Court this morning.
Michael Allan Jacobs appeared via video link from Sydney’s Long Bay Jail.
The 47-year-old is accused of shooting Senior Constable Rixon outside a Tamworth home in March.
Jacobs sat expressionless as the matter was adjourned to Tamworth Local Court on the 13th of June.
Sharon and James Strudwick are also due to appear that day, charged with being accessories after the fact.
