There has been a horrifying terror attack in Pakistan.
– Taliban insurgents have killed at least 141 people, most of them children, after storming an army-run school. The Taliban has called it revenge for a major military offensive in the region.
– Police in Newcastle have arrested a male nurse over the alleged murders of two nursing home patients at an aged care facility at Wallsend. It’s alleged the elderly patients were injected with large doses of insulin despite not being diabetic. A 27 year old male nurse has been arrested at Redhead.
– Sydney is slowly returning to normal after the Lindt cafe siege. Tributes at the Martin Place memorial showing no sign of slowing down as mourners unite for the two innocent victims.
– And Dutchess Kate has paid a surprise visit to a Scout group in London taking part in a range of activities.
