Two RFS volunteers have allegedly been threatened, forcing them to stop work while extinguishing a fire earlier this week.
Police say a 44-year-old man approached the firefighters, threatening them with physical harm and damage to their property.
The accused was found in possession of a knife when arrested at Elands, and was charged with intimidation.
