A woman has suffered leg injuries after being struck by a car while crossing the road in Newcastle this morning.
Emergency services arrived at the intersection of Darby and Tyrrell streets shortly before 9:30, and treated the 65-year-old.
The car’s driver underwent mandatory testing.
The woman was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
