CRICKET LEGENDS TO PLAY IN COFFS

Coffs Harbour will host a cricketing legends match featuring some of the sport’s greatest names.

The Twenty20 game against a local side, which will be played in October, will
feature former players, Greg Mathews and Greg Ritchie.

The Masters Tour series was launched at Coffs Harbour’s BCU Stadium this morning.

Coffs Mayor, Keith Rhoades, is unlikely to qualify for the local side after this golden duck this morning.

The match will boost efforts to recruit new players for the local competition.

” I just think we have been starved of major cricket in the least few years and I think seeing some of these players in action will be a terrific boost to local cricket.”
