A handful of Broncos say they won’t focus on impressing incoming coach Wayne Bennett when Newcastle takes on Brisbane this Saturday night.
“For us, our focus is winning and trying to get into the top eight. Wayne’s coming here next year so we’ll worry about that then.”
Ben Hannant is coming off contract and is yet to speak to Bennett about his future at the club.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate at this time, we’ve got three important games at the moment. Things will work out for next year, next year.”
