Five months on from the tragic drownings of three people, off the Newcastle coast the battered remnants of their catamaran has been found.
The vessel was spotted today 600 kilometres from where it struck trouble, floating near Stradbroke Island in Queensland.
Grandparents Helen and Rod Cooper, and a family friend died, after it capsized in rough seas, in July.
