JERRY SCHWARTZ SEEKS COUNCIL SUPPORT TO OPEN EMERGENCY BUSHFIRE ACCOMMODATION

Hotel tycoon Jerry Schwartz wants to offer 32 cabins in the Hunter as emergency bushfire accommodation.
The prominent businessman is seeking urgent support from Cessnock Council and hopes to be granted temporary development approval.
The cabins were built almost a year ago next to the Crowne Plaza – Mr Schwartz says they’re ready for immediate use.
