COUNCIL AWARDS $61 MILLION WATER PIPELINE CONTRACT

A project to increase water security for the Central Coast, is a step closer.
Council has selected the companies that will build the $61-million Mardi to Warnervale pipeline.
Spiecapag and Seymour Whyte will oversee construction of the nine kilometre network, starting next month.
The pipeline will ensure better supply for the region’s rapidly growing north and will also help water sharing arrangements with the Hunter.
