Some of Tamworth’s speed limits have been dropped to 40 kilometres per hour to help improve pedestrians’ safety in the CBD.
Major streets like Fitzroy, Bourke and Darling, and some backstreets, will fall under the new limits.
They’ll be enforced from February 17.
