Would you drink this water?
That’s the question on Central Coast residents’ lips – after the local council yesterday said it was safe to do so.
Close to a dozen suburbs have had discoloured water running out of the tap in recent weeks.
Central Coast Council is investigating, but believes it’s okay to consume – as this happens from time to time due to numerous issues with its pipe network.
But last night locals hit back on social media, demanding to see the results of water quality testing – some saying their water “has chunks in it”.
