$100,000 GRANT TO MINIMISE ACCIDENT RISKS AT TAMINDA INTERSECTION

Member for New England, Barnaby Joyce, has announced $100,000 in upgrades to minimise accident risks at a Tamworth intersection.

The Jewry-Lockheed intersection in Taminda has been the site of two serious accidents since 2016.

The grant, which has been funded under the 2020-21 Black Spot Program, will secure lighting, signage and traffic lights for the area.
