Strong winds caused chaos across parts of Newcastle and the Hunter today.
In Hamilton, strong winds brought down a large tree on Tudor Street, narrowly avoiding motorists.
The large Norfolk pine fell about 3.20 and luckily fell along the medium strip and not across busy tudor street.
A council aborist was called in to survey the damage.
Luckily, no one was injured.
