Taree’s Martin Bridge is about to receive a makeover…with tenders open to repaint it.
As part of the upgrade, bearings will be cleaned, joints will be replaced and bird proofing will be installed.
The bridge, which runs across the Manning River, was first opened in 1940.
Work will begin in April, with the project expected to be complete midway through 2022.
