Today plenty of locals stopped by The Entrance to get a glimpse of heavy machinery at work on the channel, despite a clear message asking them not to.
Council started works yesterday to repair the embankment along Marine Parade – after it was eroded during February’s flood event.
Work wrapped up this afternoon.
