NSW FARMERS PUSH FOR NEW STIMULUS PACKAGE TO ASSIST AG INDUSTRY

The New South Wales Farmers Association is calling for a new stimulus package, to support the agriculture industry through the shut-down.

The proposed package would include funding for weed and pest control, fencing, infrastructure and improved accommodation for labourers.

The association says the deal would allow production to continue, as well as enhance the quality of products.

It’s in talks with the Department of Regional New South Wales.
