WATER RESTRICTIONS LIFT AFTER 12 MONTHS IN PORT MACQUARIE

After 12 months of water restrictions in place for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region today, all restrictions are lifted.

The downgrade from level two comes after consistent rainfall in February and March, the water storage currently sitting at 73 per cent.

The community is encouraged to continue to reduce water usage, while council focuses on future management plans.
