Northern Inland Football is in discussions about a possible July return.
It comes after Football Federation Australia confirmed all soccer activities would remain suspended until May 31.
Northern New South Wales Football has decided its seven zones, including Northern Inland, will continue planning for a deferred season kick-off.
While no exact date has been given, July was deemed the “safe bet” with restrictions on large gatherings not due to expire until June 29.
