A police officer has escaped serious harm after she was allegedly hit by a projectile in Toomelah on Sunday.
Police say officers were patrolling the town at around midday when a projectile was thrown at their vehicle.
The object shattered the driver’s window, before striking the arm of the female officer.
She was treated at Goondiwindi Hospital for minor injuries.
