The Old Mill Road Bridge at Herons Creek is about to undergo a complete restructure.
The existing timber bridge is being replaced with a new concrete structure, which will improve safety for local residents.
Old Mill Road will be closed to all traffic for the next two days.
The construction work is expected to take two weeks to complete.
It’s part of a bridge replacement program being rolled across the Port Macquarie-Hastings area.
