GOSFORD COP FAREWELLED AFTER 41 YEARS IN THE FORCE

Balloons and police tape don’t typically mix but were the decorations of choice as Gosford officers farewelled their station manager today.

Flanked by his colleagues, Sergeant Steve Hassett’s 41 years in the police force ended with a salute.

Though physical distancing requirements meant many had to watch on from the roof.

After 25 years on the Central Coast, Sergeant Hassett will retire to Melbourne.
