GAV’S WEATHER | WIDESPREAD WET WEATHER

The south-east corner of the country is now under a blanket of cloud, and the low in the Bight is easily seen.

All of this is going to come together to form an east coast low early next week.

Tomorrow, numerous weather features will begin to collide over the south-east.

The north-west moisture feed will help deliver inland rain to New South Wales.

The complex low in the Bight will begin to affect the south-east.

An upper level, cold pool will then begin to form over New South Wales over the weekend, before triggering cyclogenesis.

There will be a formation of an east coast low next Monday.

At this point, the worst of this weather is likely to be in the southern New South Wales coast.
