The Lock the Gate Farming Alliance is concerned producers near Pilliga have been overlooked by a report on the proposed Narrabri Gas Project.
The New South Wales Department of Planning recently conducted an assessment of Santos’ proposal.
The alliance fears the concerns of farmers located east of Pilliga were neglected in the Department’s final report.
It believes drilling will have a negative effect on bore water supplies for locals.
A virtual public hearing into the Narrabri Gas Project is scheduled to begin next week.
