18 homes at Wamberal will be evacuated today, as wild seas continue to batter the Central Coast.
Emergency services and Central Coast Council have met with locals who’s homes are at risk of washing into the sea.
Coastal engineers have also been called in to assess the damage.
The beach remains closed and the general public is being urged to stay away.
The Entrance North is also being hammered by the storm surge.
Around 10 metres of land has been lost from beachfront properties along Hutton Road.
The beach there is also closed.
