Plans to fast-track inland rail services between Narrabri and North Star are full steam ahead.
The State Government has announced it will speed up the assessment process for a $700-million railway connection.
It comes after the Department of Planning opted to fast-track a number of state projects that could be kicked off within the next six months.
The proposed project has the potential to generate 16,000 jobs and inject $16-billion into the North West’s agricultural sector.
