Central Coast residents will be barred from entering Queensland from Saturday.
The Palaszczuk Government has included the council area, as it deems Greater Sydney a COVID-19 hotspot.
Queensland residents returning home from the Central Coast will need to quarantine in hotel accommodation at their own expense.
The Central Coast has recorded no new coronavirus cases since April.
