FEARS QUEENSLAND CORONAVIRUS HOTSPOT STATUS MAY HURT COAST BUSINESSES
Business leaders on the Central Coast remain concerned, about the Queensland governments decision to include the region as a coronavirus hotspot in ‘Greater Sydney’.
Residents will not be able to venture north of the border from Saturday, while Queenslanders are being encouraged to avoid the Central Coast.
The move has prompted concerns for tourism, and other industries.
“We’ve already seen the impacts on our supply chains from the Victorian closure, we are estimating to see the same type of impacts in terms of slow delivery of goods and services for our community,” Business NSW Regional Director, Paula Martin said.
