WOOLWORTHS DISTRIBUTION STAFF RETURN TO WORK AT WARNERVALE
More than 500 staff returned to work at the Woolworths distribution centre in Warnervale today.
An indefinite lockout has ended after negotiations with the United Workers Union picked up.
A final deal is yet to be locked in, with an improved rate of pay, provisions to convert casual positions into permanent, and paid domestic violence leave currently on the table.
Employees went without wages over the two week picket line, seeking pay on par with colleagues in Sydney.
