Dunoon United Football Club is eager to get more females on the field – and it’s hoping a new change-room will do just that.
The facility for female players and referees will be built at Balzer Park thanks to federal government funding.
Federal Member for Page, Kevin Hogan MP, says he is pleased to support the club with the money.
“What we’re seeing obviously is a lot more increased participation of women in sport which is great and this $30,000 grant is all about increasing female participation,” Mr Hogan said.
