WOMAN FOUR TIMES OVER BLOOD ALCOHOL LIMIT IN CBD COLLISION

A woman will face court, after she was found four times over the blood alcohol limit behind the wheel in Newcastle last night.
Just before 10:30pm, emergency services responded to a two-vehicle car crash at the intersection of King Street and Union Street.
The 28-year-old female, who was the driver of one of the cars, returned a positive roadside breath test.
She was arrested and taken to Newcastle Police Station, where she returned a reading of 0.232.
Her licence was immediately suspended, and she’s due to appear in Newcastle Local Court later this month.
