HAZARD REDUCTION BURNS SET TO START ON CENTRAL COAST

A spate of hazard reduction burns has begun on the Central Coast with smoke from a Buff Point burn off visible at Norah Head today.

The Rural Fire Service will undertake similar operations at the Pacific Highway in Tuggerah Heights and Kowara Road in Somersby this Saturday.

Nearby residents are encouraged to keep their doors and windows closed.
