CENTRAL COAST TEENAGER TEST POSITIVE TO COVID-19
A second case of coronavirus has been diagnosed on the Central Coast.
The teenager lives with a man in his 50s who was linked back to the Sydney CBD cluster last week.
She was already isolating at home during her infectious period.
In a statement, the Central Coast Local Health District says there is no public health alert for this case.
“Both cases are doing well with mild symptoms.”
“The teenager who had tested negative last week, presented for testing again over the weekend after developing symptoms.
“It is vital that anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms, however mild, comes forward for testing the help limit the spread of COVID-19.
There are free tresting clinics at Woy Woy, Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, as well as Central Coast Primary Care’s Erina clinic.
