Vandals have attacked Northlakes Oval in San Remo causing more than $20,000 in damages.
A 20 metre high pole was bought down and flood lights smashed in the spree, which has forced the facility to close.
Today council employees were working to restore power to the remaining lights so local clubs can resume training ahead of finals.
Council is calling on the community to help find those responsible.
