It’s been a sight for sore eyes in Pilliga – the region experiencing its best wildflower season in several years.
More than 50 varieties of colourful blooms have been sighted across the area – including daisies, orchids and bluebells.
The Department of Primary Industries says moist soils from a wet winter have assisted in the picturesque regrowth.
The wildflowers are expected to remain in bloom until early summer.
