A man will appear in court today charged after several firearms were seized from a unit in Tweed Heads.
Police searched a unit on Margaret Street on Friday, uncovering three gel blaster handguns, firearm parts, a canister of pepper spray, a mobile phone and a laser pointer.
Officers then arrested a 27-year-old man at the property, and he was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.
The man was charged with three counts of possess unauthorised firearms, two counts of possess prohibited weapon, two counts of supply prohibited drug and breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court today
Investigations are continuing.
