A driver has escaped injury after crashing into a block of flats at Glendale overnight.
At around 11.30pm, emergency services responded to reports a vehicle had slammed into the ground level of a unit complex on Lake Road, causing serious structural damage.
Thankfully, no one in the car or inside the property was injured.
Firefighters helped to clean up a small oil spill and stabilise the building.
Police had to notify other residents they’d need to find alternative accommodation because the property was no longer safe.
